Elizabeth Gaskell’s House offers a unique historic and intimate venue for your event or conference.

Just a short distance from Oxford Road and the city centre, this beautifully restored historic house offers a choice of seminar rooms and Victorian period rooms, each accommodating up to 35 people and with use of deluxe screens or projectors and screens

The house is accessible with lifts to all floors and disabled parking onsite. Hearing loops are also available in some rooms.

Each room can take a maximum of 35 people theatre style and 26 conference style - all room hires include the use of a large screen or projector & screen.

Half day room hire - £75 +VAT
Full day room hire - £140 +VAT

£30 per room for unlimited tea, coffee and water throughout the duration of your meeting or event.

We can also provide a buffet lunch on request.
